Hi all, I am currently placing my wifi router at the 2nd level living hall and connecting my PS4 to it from my bedroom. However, the best signal strength I can get is only less than 80% (mostly 60~70+).

I understand that this is normal because some of the signal will be blocked off by walls..wat I would like to know is if there is any way on boosting the signal strength?

Some potential options I have in mind:
[*]Change antenna
[*]Get a WiFi range extender
Please enlighten me :) thanks!

Drawup or my house's plan

Router and PS4 are on the same floor, right?
It is okay to buy a range extender. Also, powerline extender kit may work as well.

Yea, on the same floor. Tried powerline WA4220 kit, cannot get optimal speed...from 30mbps dropped to 7mbps..because my brother's PC setup causing great interference.
