Hardware Version : Not Clear

I recently purchased and installed a TP-Link WN881ND Wireless Network Card, but open installing the driver and the Utility that came with the product, when I try and connect to the internet it comes up with "Limited Connection". Any idea on what this is, or how to fix it? I am not the most tech savvy person, so please be patient if I ask 'silly' questions :D

Did you get a chance to input Wi-Fi password?
What's the operating system of your PC and how do you secure the Wi-Fi network?
You may try to change a channel on the router and reconnect. Also, in some cases, you may have to configure static IP on your PC to make it work.

I was able to put in the password to connect, my PC is running Windows 8, the network is on a WPA2 encryption. How would I be able to do the other two things you have asked of me?

It did ask me for a password, which I know is correct as I have a Laptop next to me to figure out what it was :P
I'm currently running Windows 8, and my Wi-Fi network is WPA2 as the encryption.

How would I go about doing the last two things that you have mentioned?

Do you know how to login your router's configuration page? You should be able to find Channel option and you can modify it.

To try static IP, you can check IP address, default gateway, DNS on the laptop first.
For example: IP 192.168.0.102 ...
And then, on your PC, configure Static IP like 192.168.1.105, same default gateway and DNS as the laptop's.
