I am wondering why I am getting faster internet connection with the 8901N on the same line. The main difference is annex mode. If I choose annex M on the 8980 I will get constant dropouts. The router would settle with annex A/L. For the 8901N the modem would choose annex M and get about 10% faster internet connection. Shouldnt the W8980 get at least the same speed in internet connection?

Both of the modem router are the latest version with the lastest firmware installed.
