TD-W8970: USB Printer Server IP address and SNR

TP-LINK USB Controller software doesn't work on latest Mac OS X - El Capitan.
So I would like to know the IP address of the print server in the router if it's possible for me to connect to it manually without the need for above software (or waiting at least).
Also SNR adjustment via telnet doesn't seem to work despite its having a broadcom chipset?
