Model : Archer T8E

Hardware Version : V1

Firmware Version :

ISP : Internode (AU)

As the title states, my archer t8e does not detect the 5GHz network in my home although my other compatible devices can detect it from the same room. It detects and connects to the 2.4GHz network fine. I am running windows 10 and have installed the new win10 drivers on my desktop, any help is appreciated!

Import piece of information for Windows 10 users outside of the US who have problems with the TP-Link Archer T4U Wifi adapter.
First change the display language of non-unicode programs in Windows. See this website for an instruction: http://www.tuicool.com/articles/YRJnUj.
Only then install the latest driver from the TP Link website. Don't let Windows search for the driver, select the location of the downloaded driver manually.
