Hi there,

I am trying to troubleshoot an IPSec issue where an tunnel is created through the router to an internal device. IPSec Passthrough is enabled, but the device cannot negotiate.

There are no tunnels defined on the router at all, and the device has been configured as DMZ.

Another forum suggested it was possible the IPSec daemon on the router was not doing true passthrough and maybe intercepting some elements of the conversation. So, is it possible via command line to turn off the IPSec daemon completely so that I can eliminate this possibility?

Thanks
Stuart

Hi Stuart,
Are you setting IPSec VPN correctly?
Is the tunnel status up on the manage page?
If the status is up but the device can't negotiate, you can try to disable the firewall and try again.
