C5 disconnects all the time

C5 disconnects all the time

Hi,
Needs some help with my C5 router.
I bought one of these and (I think) I manage to connenct it and set it up in the right way. However, I was only able to use it for half an hour before it "dissapeared" and niether my lapptop or my smartphone could find it again. After trying different ways to make it work again, I noticed that by turning off and on the wifi (with the help of the small button on the back of the router), I managed to make it work again, but only for a short while. I called the store support and was told that the router was broken so I went and got it replaced.
Same thing with the new one though. It only works for a short while before "disapearing" again.
When the computer finds it, the signal strenght is at its highest level and the computer is, at most, twent feet from the router.
Whats wrong?
