Archer C7 not showing my local Devices (such as NAS drive)

Hi
I have recently added a TP-Link Archer C7 wifi router to my network. It is not showing up my locally connected devices such as my other PC's but most importantly my NAS drive. I am trying to access this using a Surface Pro 3 running windows 10.
I have also tried to connect using a MacBook Pro, which is also not showing up the locally connected devices.
I have a second WIFI router upstairs connected via Ethernet over power line and that works fine on both Mac book and Surface Pro, with both of those devices showing the NAZS drive etc.
It must be a setting somewhere in the router but I have cannot find a solution.
All external internet connections are working a treat.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
thanks
Steve
