Model: Archer C6
Hardware Version: V4
Firmware Version: (RU) 1.13.6 Build 240430 Rel.54880n(5255)

Hello,

I was trying to find a new Wi-Fi router to replace the previous Archer C50 because we had faster speed than 100 Mbit/s. Got some variants, set 1 Gbit/s to filters, did some comparison, and chose Archer C6. Went to the store, bought it, set it up, everything worked fine, the speed was faster. But then we had a new problem: we were constantly losing access to internet every 1, 2 or 3 days. Sometimes the router had worked for longer like 1 week, but again, no internet at the evening for some time. I restarted it, didn't help. I reset it, helped for some time but here we go again, the same problem appears again. That was NEVER happening on Archer C50, it's like the router was getting "exhausted" every day. I got suspicious if this is the only router model that this problem has happened, and went here, the TP-Link forums. I found 2 posts from Matt93 and SeByDocKy who had the same issues on the same routers. Now I am 100% sure something is wrong with this router and I will be planning to replace it. Before I finish writing, I'll answer questions TP-Link helper has asked the previous user:

Q: What is the symptom of the crash? Please try to describe the LEDs status when it crashed, can you see its wireless network when it crashed?
A: I don't know how the crash happens, I tried everything, turned on/off many different features, restarted, reset the router. One thing you have to note, that when internet disconnects, all of the 4 indicators still show green, and internet provider's modem indicators are also all green. One more thing you should note is that if you check the internet/router status with TP-Link Tether app, it shows both "Connected to Router" and "Connected to Internet", while the second one being false. This should mean that the router doesn't know that the problem is happening.

Q: You can try to reset it to factory defaults either by pressing the RESET button or doing factory defaults via its web interface page, then reconfigure it from scratch to check again if it will work properly.
A: Already tried that.

Q: Is there any high load or high traffic when the router crashes?
A: No, we have like maximum of 7 devices that are connected to the both 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi.

Q: How many devices connected to the router most of the time, what if you disconnect some of them?
A: Idk if this is the same question but most of the time we have 6 devices connected to the router, if I disconnect some of them, nothing changes, if I disconnect all of them, nothing changes.

Q: Are you using the original power adapter that came with the box?
A: Yes.

I really start to believe that Archer C6 has some defect and you should try to test it again. If not, why there were people having the exact same problem as me before?
Thanks in advance.
