MR3020 and MA260: endless 'unplugged' status
Model :
Hardware Version : Not Clear
Firmware Version :
ISP :
I am using:
* MR3020 (Ver 1.9, firmware version: 3_17_2 140610 and 150921)
* MA260 with T-Mobile Business (Germany) and Vodafone (Germany)
Issue 1) modem "unplugged"
In regions with weak mobile service coverage, the router is trying to connect. After a while (about 5 minutes) the MA260 modem is 'unplugged'. In about half of the time, the router remains in this state - even if mobile service comes back, the router and modem remains in this 'unplugged' state.
Issue 2) "re-enter SIM pin"
In random occasions, but very often, the routers forgets the SIM pin. It asks the user to reenter the pin. The device was only switch on and off - there was no change in configuration and no change in hardware (thus, MA260 was not plugged in/out neither was the SIM changed)
We are using a lot of these devices - all with the same behaviour. They are mounted on a shuttle bus providing WiFi service to passangers. Both issues above prevent us from using the devices for this application.
Is there a new firmware to adress those issues ?
