I'd like to move many of my static devices to the IoT network. Simple devices like Sonos speakers keep dropping off the main network, and I suspect the XE75's band-switching behavior is the culprit. My older M5 units were far more stable.

I've read that simpler devices should use 2.4GHz and the IoT network, but that's impractical—many of these devices need internet access to function properly (Spotify, updates, etc.). The current IoT network design blocks internet entirely, which defeats the purpose.

Online it is mentioned that there is an advanced button on the IoT page - but this is not on my Deco App.

Regards, Elliot

PS. I have 3 XE75s and 2 X55

  @EDuff

I use IoT Network and can say with all confidence devices on IoT Network have access to Internet. No settings required- Internet access is allowed by default.

  @EDuff Thanks, yes it now works.

I turned off all the nodes and then rebooted the main mode.

And then brought up all the others one by one.

I noticed that this issue came up a few times last year, without resolution.

Regards, Elliot.
