I purchased a wi-fi extender last September and thought it was the most wonderful thing I ever paid for ;)

Since one week the signal is showing as 100% but I cannot seem to log on to anything. I am typing this using a '1' bar of wifi signal. It seems that it has stopped working correctly or it is not talking correctly to the laptop??

I am a computer numpty, but any help would be appreciated.
