My Samsung S2 Tab supports 5Ghz but the signal from my Netgear 3700 router was too weak at the front of the house. I overcame this with the RE 200.
Close to the Router at 2.4 Ghz the analyser app on my tablet gives a link speed of 144Mbps and at 5Ghz 54Mbps direct to the router.
At the front of the house through two solid walls the app shows 2.4 Ghz speed of 144 Mbps and 5Ghz of 263 Mbps. Solid reliable signal to the Re 200. Throughput Download speed is 10.9 at 2.4 and 11.5 at 5Ghz. The link speed of the 5 Ghz is limited by the router although setup page shows up to 300 Mbps so I suspect the link to the Red 200 is only 54Mbps.
I had to set the 5Ghz name for the Re different to the router. Thanks to the excellent chat support from Carla set up was easy. I get red lights sometimes with the Red in my proffered socket but it does not appear to affect performance. Solid streaming to TV is an added bonus.
