RE 200 Wifi LED is red but WLAN is working
RE 200 Wifi LED is red but WLAN is working
Hi all
I installed the RE200 today. After setting it up the floor above, the 2,4 G and 5 G LED are shining green but the WiFi LED is shining red. Nevertheless the Internet works on the clients.
Does someone has an explanation for that?

Hi, have you tried to move the RE200 a little bit closer to the main router, then check if the LED would stay red?

Hi Theo, the flashing red wifi led means that the extender is experiencing poor signal strength. Try relocating it closer to your host router.
You can check the LED indicators explanation on the user guide also.

It is normal that you can see the wifi network as long as the wifi led turns on, but what about the internet connection? Can you still surf the internet at that time?
Meanwhile, as far as I know, there is no red led for WiFi led, could you please show us a picture of the led status when RE200 shows red?

The same thing has happened to me. Red wifi light is on but I can connect and internet connection is good enough to watch web-based streaming services. Not sure why this is, did you get a solution?
