Hi TP-Link Team and Community,

I would like to strongly request the addition of DNS over HTTPS (DoH) and DNS over TLS (DoT) support for the Archer AXE75 in an upcoming firmware update.

The AXE75 is positioned as a high-end, premium WiFi 6E router, yet it is currently missing this crucial modern privacy feature. What makes this particularly frustrating is the fact that lower-tier models, such as the Archer AX55, already have native DoH/DoT support. It is highly counterintuitive that users who invested more in a flagship-level device like the AXE75 are left behind regarding fundamental network security features.

Implementing DoH/DoT natively at the router level is essential for several reasons:

  1. Enhanced Privacy: It encrypts DNS queries, preventing ISPs from eavesdropping on web traffic.

  2. Improved Security: It mitigates the risk of DNS spoofing and man-in-the-middle (MitM) attacks across the entire local network.

  3. Feature Parity: Premium devices should inherently include all the software features present in the mid-range lineup.

I hope to see this parity addressed in the very next firmware release!
