Archer C2 Guest Network allows access to NAS
Model :
Hardware Version :
Firmware Version :
ISP :
Hi everybody,
I am having a little problem with my Archer C2 router.
I am connected to the internet via a cable modem. The C2 is connected to the cable modem and provides WIFI.
My NAS is connected to the cable modem via Devolo Power LAN.
I configured a guest network on the C2 and disabled "allow access to local network" and enabled "guest network isolation".
The aim of this was, that the guest network should only have access to the internet.
However, when I am connected to the Guest Network with my PC, I can still access all the files on my NAS (I know the correct IP of the NAS).
My idea was, maybe the reason is that the WIFI guest networl on the C2 does not take into account the cabled connection on the cable modem. Is this correct?
Thanks for any help to secure the guest network.
Regards
Markus
