WN722N not detecting

I recently bought this adapter so that I could learn packet injection Kali.
When I connect this adapter, I get windows sound of device connected but then again disconnect sound.
I have a keyboard and mouse attached to other 2 USB ports which I tried connecting but I get the same error. It occasionally gets detected and again disconnects after 10 seconds or so. Tried updating drivers but getting same error.
My PC - Lenovo Flex 2 - 14
Windows 8.1
I am frustrated because this product is in pretty new condition. I bought this product and didn't even unbox it cause I was busy. Will my product get repaired or replaced under warranty?
