On my network I have a modem/router which handles Internet connection, routing, dhcp. etc. I'm using my Archer C9 as WI-FI AP and ethernet switch purposes only. I am in need of a 5th port, so is it anyway possible to use the WAN port as one of the LAN ports?

Thanks.

Unfortunately it seems impossible to do that as Archer C9 is an NAT router. The WAN and LAN ports are separated from each other and couldn't get IP addresses in the same segment.
In this case, it's recommended to purchase a desktop switch to help extend the LAN interfaces and you can connect more than just 5.
