I'm trying to add a new Western Digital My Book backup hard drive but all it comes up with is ' Drive1: WD (My Book 25EE) 4004 ' and does not recognise the volume at all.
There is no volume name or spec data.

May I know what's the capacity of your HDD? And what about the file system, NTFS?
As for the phenomenon, I'm not very sure. Could you post a screenshot of what you see on the USB setttings page of the router?

Thank you for your reply.
The Western digital hard drive is model:WDBBGB0040HBK-NESN and is 4GB.
The My Book drive is formatted as a single exFAT partition for compatibility with all
updated Windows and Mac operating systems.
