Epson Printer Cloud Connect only working over wired connection
Model :
Hardware Version :
Firmware Version :
ISP :
Model : AC750
Hardware Version : Archer D2 v1 00000001
Firmware Version : 0.8.0 1.2 v003e.0 Build 150921 Rel.39523n
ISP : PlusNet
Region - UK
Got an Epson WF3620 multifunction printer which uses Epson Cloud Connect to enable scanning to email/cloud drives etc. This was working fine with my ISP-supplied router over a 2.4GHz wireless connection.
Now with my new TP-Link modem router, the printer fails to connect to Epson's cloud service. However this only happens when connected over the 2.4GHz wireless network - when plugged directly into the modem router with an Ethernet cable it works fine.
I can't figure out why wireless connectivity would make a difference vs wired - can't see any security settings in the router that might prevent the printer hitting the Epson service via wifi vs wired.
All Epson says is that connectivity to Cloud Connect requires access to port 5222 (outbound, I assume).
Any ideas?
