Archer T4U won't connect to 5GHz network but will connect to 2.4GHz network

Firmware Version :
ISP :
Model : Archer T4U
Hardware Version : V1.0
Firmware Version :
I have been using this adapter since january and always connected on the 5ghz network provided by my router (Archer D2 configured as AP). Yesterday there was a power outage while my pc was on. Since then I cannot connect on the 5ghz network. I tried rebooting my pc multiple times, turning my router off/on multiple times as well, reinstalling the drivers for the adapter, installing tp link utility to try and connect, to no avail. The 2.4GHz network wor flawlessly but I want to use the 5GHz one.
Ps.: Pc is a windows 10 x64 desktop with the adapter connected with the provided usb 3.0 cable on a usb 3.0 port (tried changing the port as well)
