Steps:
1. Plug in device into USB 2.0 port
2. Run included installer CD
3. Select install driver and utility
4. Prompted to attach device by utility software.
5. Unplugged device
6. Replugged device
7. Clicked ok on the prompt
8. Message "Station Mode setting" appears
9. Installation ends here.

Symptoms:
1. Unable to detect​ any WiFi networks. Other devices can see 2.4Ghz and 5.0Ghz networks with no issues
2. Light on device is not on but turns on when attempting WPA direct connection. Unable to connect however.
3. PC refuses to shut down or log on to windows on reboot when device is plugged.


Solutions tried to date:
1. Reinstall utility and driver
2. Reinstall only driver
3. Reinstall utility and driver in safe mode

Verified the following:
1.) Device Manager shows device running properly and driver is up to date
2.) Services shows WLAN service up and running.

Any help would be appreciated.
