Hi there,

got a new Archer VR2600v but some WLAN problems.. Clients often disconnect.. Same with 2,4Ghz and 5Ghz and various devices (Galaxy S7, DELL Venue 11 Pro Tablet, USB Wifi Stick for PC..).. Aber few seconds the connection is back..

This Router was not cheap. expected the standard functions to work properly..?

Thanks and regards,
Stefan

Do you have latest firmware on the router? Setup radio without AUTO configure.

I have set 2,4 and 5ghz now manually:

2,4Ghz:

40Mhz bandwidth
channel 1

5Ghz:

80Mhz bandwidth
channel 36

guest network is disabled..

Prior everything was set auto and guest network was enabled..

WiFi connection still unstable.. What can I do, is there any TP-Link staff around here? This is a nearly 200 euro router and WiFi is a basic functionality, which simply should work out of the box (my oppinion)..

I do have the latest firmware and everything on AUTO.. Today I switched settings:

2,4Ghz

40Mhz bandwidth
channel 1

5Ghz

80Mhz bandwidth
channel 36

guest network: deactivated

still unstable WiFi (loses connection and reconnects a second later)..

Shouldn't this work out of the box on a nearly 200 Euro router?

The same occurred with me when I bought the device.
I contacted the support and got a beta firmware.
