Issues with port forwarding on C2600

I have just installed a C2600 WiFi router connected to an IS supplied modem. I have tried to set up a port forward within the device. It looks to be set ok. When I then reboot the C2600 the port forward works for a period of time (actual time unknown). Then when I try to log in through this port it does not work. Does anybody have any ideas on what the problem could be??
