Hi,
I'm currently trying to upgrade my router's firmware, but there seems to be an issue.
From the control panel the router tells me the firmware can be upgraded:

..so I go to the website and download the new firmware:
http://www.tp-link.it/download/Archer-VR400_V1.html

..on the website it states the firmware's name (from which I can assume the version): Archer_VR400(EU)_V1_170302

but when I download it and unzip it the resulting .bin file has this name: Archer_VR400V1_0.2.0_0.9.1_up_boot(170302)_2017-03-02_16.01.39.bin

In fact, when I upload the downloaded firmware to my router, at the end of the installation the new version is: 0.2.0 0.9.1 v0070.0 Build 170302 Rel.50751n

..and I expected the version 1.17 or something. I guess the router expected another version too, since I still get the message in the image posted above.

I would apreciate some help

Seem your router has the latest firmware. The message comes up at Online upgrade part, so why don't you just click online upgrade?

When I click "Verificate gli aggiornamenti" it just seems to check if updates are avaiable, then it prompts the red statement "firmware has to be upgraded"

I too thought at first glance I could update from there, but it just seems to check, without doing anything else besides telling me I need to upgrade.

edit: I think that maybe in the "update online" section an "Update" button is missing
