@RayP Hi Ray. Router Backup done via 'Advanced tab > System tools > Backup & Restore ' - then click on Backup - save file. Funny I have a couple Synology Nas Units.. I have static IP adressed mine....

@RayP Hi Ray. Good news re your router working, I would suggest to make a back up of your current config. Future reset 2 mins to reload set up etc. Regards Gary

@RayP As i have a suitable generic supply - as mentioned in 1st post my VR2800 draws approx .7a @ 12V. I think it would be best - as mentioned you contact TP-link as the router is still under there...
