@Hannemaster sadly no. I gave up and started pulling cables. Had some issues with my Deco m9 as well which are mostly solved now too.

@TP-Link Hi, Yes, this was the only PC that had this problem at the time. However, plugging in the ethernet cable to a different desktop that was normally connected wirelessly gives the same result....

@Kevin_Z - previously uninstalled all the drivers and reinstalled the latest driver from the TP website. -Deco firmware is current. - Will try the mesh option!

I have a desktop PC (Win7) with an Archer T4U USB Wifi adapter. When connected to my ISP modem/router wifi network, it works... but barely. That's because the wifi signal is way too weak. No surprise...
