@Mackem Unfortunately, it was never resolved for more... Since this was the second time I had an issue with a TP-Link router, I decided to return the router since I was within the return window.

I'm seeing this issue as well. Had a problem with a previous TP-Link router that would periodically drop 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, so the first thing I checked was to make sure that both 5 GHz networks as well...
