if I was to set up a new mesh system could I also use my exsiting Power line extenders? i realise they wont be part of the mesh but would they work even as pass through for Lan conections?

I have a extender kit one of which is pluged into the router, I would like to extend further and was wondering if i was to get another kit would i be able to use both units as extenders or does one...
