Yes my modem can also worke as a router, and they had turns on fore the router function by a masteke, so my router was getting the lan IP from my modem in on the wan site, but now I get my public IP...

Well I got fiber(not sure of the English name) so I have a box thats splits the internet and TV up, but it worked before I resat my router and I haven't touched my modem
