My guess is the Gateway on the DECO is different than the static IP/Sub/gateway of your printer. The deco cannot be configured to match your old network settings(one giant gripe). So you will have to...

Yep this seems to be the norm. While wired speeds should be close to the speed of the deco app speed test they are not.

Sure, They are asking you to use Googles DNS servers inside the DECO so you would be bypassing your cable company's DNS servers. Not sure if this makes any sense to you or not.
