If you just want to extend your internet connection over WiFi, just take the wire that comes out of the modem that the ISP has given you and plug it into the WAN port of the wifi router.

What is the speed that your ISP gives you? This 150Mbps is only between your devices and your router. Beyond that, your ISP and current internet conditions set the limit on what throughput you get....
