@Scampi Deco supports only three SSIDs (Main, Guest, IoT). You can’t add more, so yes the guides are basically instructing you to reset the Deco.

@LegoMan Switch off DHCP server and Wi‑Fi on the FritzBox and plug the phone in, connect it to the Deco, and it will run as an Access Point with your phone line still active.
