I see that the ER605 has had WireGuard added to its firmware and, as we know, the ER7206 has a superior hardware profile and should not only have no problem running it, but should do so spectacularly...

It appears that since the ER7206 is faster than the ER605 that WireGuard should be most certainly included into the firmware of it as well.
