There is no compability issue between TP-LINK powerline adatpers. You need a third powerline adapters with two LAN ports? http://www.tp-link.com/en/products/list-18.html

You can create the same SSID and password as the main router for all powerline adapters with Wi-Fi function. We'd better use different channels.

What's the format for your WD hard drive? ntfs/fat32/exfat/hfs+? Probably, 4TB is too large to be recognized by the router.

We can only create two SSID for 2.4GHz and 5GHz band. No multi-SSID function.
