@wborgo Try to change the 5GHz wireless channel on your host router to band 1, which is 36/40/44/48, then reboot both devices to see if the WDS feature for 5 GHz will be enbabled.

@Guy01 That's great to know it works. You can leave the Smart Connect off, and use the same name/SSID for both the 2.4G and 5G network, it will work without an issue.
