I,m sorry to say that this is not the case. Using an app which show hidden wireless signals, one can clearly see the m5 emitting on the 2.4ghz band even when the option is turn off.

The option to disable the 2.4ghz only hides it. It is still there. (Not very neigbourhood friendly). Is there a way to turn off de 2.4ghz radio for real?
