@Kevin_Z I just reset the router and the issue was fixed. The app I downloaded from the official website still doesn't see my adapter, but my computer does and it works fine so I don't care.

I updated windows 10 to the latest version and can't connect to the internet. PC shows the adapter on device manager but tplink software says it can't detect it. I was advised to update its driver so...
