the same me with AC1200/RE365 & N300/WA860RE! ... I don't understand why tp-link no longer allows you to switch even in Universal mode or WDS ...

no way out.. in addition to RE365 I also purchased TL-WA860RE, but each of them repeaters change Mac addresses of connected devices! I was hoping that TL-WA860RE wouldn't, and instead it does too.....

looking at this list I seem to understand that all the latest generation's extenders, (those over 300mb/s) only work in Proxy, and this I think is a bad choice by tp-link

I have a problem with this beautiful range extender: it -like other range extenders- creates VIRTUAL Mac addresses of the connected devices, and this causes connection errors with smartphone apps...
