@RedIndianRobin I actually did use WDS before (according to the manual: https://www.tp-link.com/en/support/faq/227/) But I don't use it anymore ... Oh but I left it enabled on my C6 and forgot....

Goddamn.... It was all good with 1.3.6 beta but after upgrading to non beta 1.3.6 (official release) the 2.4Ghz went down within a single day. I can't be more precise because I was at work all day...

@adios One more thing. Correct me if I'm wrong. You mentioned: "From 1.2.x I have installed openwrt and then gone back to 1.2.x using tftp." Did you mean you downgraded from 1.3.x to 1.2.x. ?
