Is there a recommended way to setup ehternet backhaul? I currently have the middle option going but should i go for the last option instead?

Has anyone done a comparison and seen how much power/dollars they saved when this feature is turned on?

i am yet to upgrade to this version but seems there could be issues with it. Might hold off for the moment.
