@Jopnert If you happen to be using homeshield antivirus, turn it off. I've encountered issues with secure DNS on some devices with it on.

@Joseph-TP I can confirm not running any kind of malware or elicit software on my phone. It's just a major false positive. And this only happens when the HomeShield security antivirus is on as well...

@Joseph-TP I fixed the problem. Turns out Homeshield security was classifying my phone as "malware" when I enabled DoH or DoT on the router. Turning the antivirus off on the router fixed the problem....
