Omada Controller Software (Windows) don't see any clients... "WAITING FOR DATA" state.
Starting a few days ago, my Omada controller offered me a firmware update for my EAP225-v3 that I've done (2.20.0 Build 20200422 Rel. 70513) but then I noticed that my Omada Controller don't see any clients anymore and I see "WAITING FOR DATA" in the main window... I've rebooted my computer several times as well and also perform a "repair" install of the Omada Controller Software (latest 3.2.10 Windows64bit version). My 2 AP are still seen by my controller.
Any suggestions?

Hi @SimonC.,
There was another thread about this on the board recently -- yesterday or the day before. This version of EAP firmware was released pre-maturely, by mistake, and has since been retracted. You'll need to manually downgrade to the previous version (e.g. 2.7).
The version that was released pre-maturely is for use with the SDN which hasn't been released just yet. But, the Omada iOS App which is compatible with the SDN was released today. So it seems like the SDN software may be released soon.

Hi, sorry for any inconvenience caused!
This new firmware EAP225 v3 20200422 would need to work with our SDN controller (not current OC200 or Omada controller software).
It is suggested to downgrade the firmware back to EAP225(US)_V3_2.7.0 Build 20200113, which can be downloaded from the link below.
https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/download/eap225/#Firmware
Besides, we will release the software of the SDN controller recently. At that time, this new firmware will be able to work with our SDN controller.

Thank you, downgrading the EAP worked fine. However I would clarify that this new firmware update showed up into my Omada Controller as an automatic update... I looks like someone missed it at TP-Link R&D... In the other hand, nobody died of course, not that much a big fail since the Wi-Fi system still worked after the update.
