After updating firmware (tether app notification) my connection is limited. Wire connected laptop says there is internet connection but nothing seems to work. Speedtest could not establish connection. The app shows all connected devices. Non of them has working internet connection. Rebooted both router and modem. Any ideas? Thanks

Thank you Kevin and sorry for the so-late reply. Eventually, I did reset it to factory settings and that helped.

@Chenka  Have you tried to reset the Archer C7 to factory defaults, then reconfigure it from scratch? Give it a go, then confirm again if the internet will work.

 

BTW, may I know who is your ISP? What is the WAN connection type on the Archer C7? Is there a WAN IP address after the configuration? Ensure the Ethernet connection between the modem and Archer C7 is good.
