Bougth a new AX5400 , cant seems to connect to internet . Notice that there is no option under PPPOE to select which ISP ( unifi , Maxis) even confirm User name and Password are all right

May I know who is your ISP? Does it require any VLAN ID setting on the router? Please show us the configuration page on the router, you can cover the credentials for any security concern.

Try to use a PC/Mac to configure the AX5400, the Tether APP might not have the options needed for Unifi/Maxis ISP to properly get to the internet.

read under the "Firmware and Features" portion of the article.

 

You'll have to go thru the setup wizard using a PC/Mac ..... not thru the Tether APP for it to work since you'll have choose or enable the VLAN profile for UNIFY/Maxis.
