Archer C80 weak signal
I have Archer C80 as the main router and RE200 range extender, internet plan is 50Mbps
When I connect to Archer C80 I only get 33-39 on both 2.4GHz and 5GHz, but when get connected to RE200 I get 45-47, how come? the RE200 is repeating/extending the Archer C80 signal

Are you using different SSIDs on the C80 and on the RE200? When testing the speed, are you standing in the same location? How about the signal strength for both networks? You can check the signal strength by installing software like NetSpot. Be sure the signal is good when testing the speed, otherwise, comparing the speed for two makes no sense.
You can also try to change the wireless channels on the C80 to find one with less interference with your neighbors.

@Liverpool20 Normally I'm using the same SSID, but because they show different internet speeds when I stand next to each other, I name them differently, so that I'm sure the problem is on the different device/transmitter, let's make it clear I stand next to Archer C80 (2 feet) and connected to Archer C80 wifi when testing it, and stand next to RE200 with RE200 wifi when testing it, the Archer C80 ad RE200 are 30 ft apart
The link/network speed of both devices on my phone is 433Mbps, though the maximum speed of Archer C80 should be 1300 Mbps, but 433Mbps is the maximum speed my phone can handle, so IMO the comparison makes very much sense
IMO the channel of a router and its extender is exactly the same

All right. Are there other phones or laptops that you can do a comparison speed test?
BTW, is Smart Connect disabled on the C80? I saw some other threads that are talking about Smart Connect which may cause issues.

@Liverpool20 Yes, a desktop, a laptop, and two cell phones show similar results, I've tried to disable and enable smart connect, also router mode and AP mode, but still no effect at all
