Firmware Version:

Hi Fae,

updated my OC200 V2 Controller to new hardware-firmware-controller cause mDNS support.

Furthermore there is an ER605 V2 2.0.1 as gateway/router and an SG3824X V1 1.0.3 in my network and 3 x EAP-245 V3 5.0.7.

While I enable mDNS under service -> mDNS in OC200 menu i get an error message "The gateway does not support mDNS".

Last week I tested in same network, same devices but Debian Software Controller 5.6.3, mDNS is working like a charme.

Can´t find out the reason, why ER605 V2 isn´t a gateway for mDNS !?  Very confused.

Is there an solution for this error with my TP devices ?

Greetings

yavin

Thanks for reply,

read your marked position in picture already.

Thought whilst my Debian-Software-Controller V5.6.3 from here:

https://community.tp-link.com/en/business/forum/topic/586828

worked with mDNS my OC200 just like that.

I thought that this feature would also be available with OC200 Update 5.6.4 from November 1st

Maybe Fae can still kindly comment on this

  @yavin

it won't be available until you update the firmware to the matching one. er7206 has been out now. 605 does not.

mDNS randomly only works, I have checked all the settings why am I experiencing this?  and when it does it's a huge lag in response time. The capacity is very low on my setup, what is causing this to not work when I am running the firmware that should support this?  It seems when mDNS does work is only after full power cycles.  Please advise is this a bug in development or do you have to flash the rest of all devices to work.
