Model: OC200
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 5.7.6

I am new to the Omada ecosystem and can't find the right information how I upgrade my OC200 firmware.

I have an OC200 that is running v5.7.6 of Omada. Now recently a new controller software v5.8.4 was released. I try to upgrade my controller but don't know how to ...

When I go into the Controller and under Settings -> Maintenance -> Hardware Controller Firmware and click on "Check for update" it tells me there is no update and I am on the latest version.

There is an option to manually update with a firmware file but when I go to the tp-link website and look under Support -> Downloads -> for OC200 all I find is the "Omada Discovery Utility v5.0.8" but no other software.

Does anybody know how I upgrade my hardware controller OC200 to the latest version?

@aschmid you are in fact on the latest version. There is no such version yet. I'm also waiting for it...

But if you track historical releases, i gues it will be released within the next two weeks. At least i hope so...

Regards

Edit: there are allways 2 - 3 weeks between software & hardware controller releases:

@R.n. thanks for the answer! I was afraid that's the case and the HW controller gets the update last or even a limited version.

Is there anywhere I can track the versions or the historical releases you mentioned?

On the TP-Link support section I can only find these:

- The OC200 support page only has information on the Discovery Utility (https://www.tp-link.com/de/support/download/oc200/)

- The Omada (Software) Controller support page only lists the Windows/Linux versions (https://www.tp-link.com/de/support/download/omada-software-controller/)

Is there another place/page where I can find information on the OC200 Omada firmware versions?

@R.n. thanks for that ... missed the link in your first reply.

I question though why this is not posted on the OC200 support page as for the other products. It's kind of tedious to find the latest version and release notes by doing a keyword search through the community forum.

At least in my case that would have saved me some time and ending up asking in the forum.
