Dear users,

 

I'm having difficulty accessing certain apps (that use the internet) while using wifi from a Powerline AV600, even though they work on the router wifi and on mobile data. The main one is BBC Sounds, which can't even get past its loading screen on Powerline wifi, but my brother says he has noticed issues on other apps too. It isn't device specific, i.e. different phones have the same problem. I tried switching the Powerline on and off, switching the Powerline security to different protocols and encryption methods, and turning it off entirely, but it didn't help. Any suggestions?

Hi, it seems that your current firmware on the powerline extender is not the latest on, please download the latest firmware on our official website and update the firmware to see if it helps:

  @Sunshine Thanks for the suggestion. I upgraded the firmware to 4.0.4 Build 20220408 Rel.36351, but it hasn't helped, sadly. 

On the phone, the support team suggested to change the wifi channel, which strangely led to a *temporary* improvement before the problem came back...
