Hardware Version: V2

Firmware Version: 3.16.9 Build

Hi, im need suggestion on which new firmare to update from the available options available at Download for TL-WR840N | TP-Link Pakistan. Please help so I can update my device and enjoy it as well.

Im consfused if I should select the EU version or the ME version like

1 - TL-WR840N(EU)_V6.2_201124

2 - TL-WR840N(ME)_V6.2_200821

3 - TL-WR840N(EU)_V6.2_20070

Hi,

If your TL-WR840N is hardware version "V2" like shown in the header of your post, then you cannot install a firmware that's been designed for hardware version "V6.2".
The router would either refuse to take such a wrong firmware update or, if the router doesn't refuse it, would likely get "bricked" (i.e. become inoperative).

The newest firmware I could find for the TL-WR840N V2 is version 3.16.9, which is apparently the one you already have.
